The Sexiest Latinas in Sports

There’s something about Latin women that drives us crazy. Those hips…that accent…that passion!

Luckily for us the sports world is teeming with sexy Latinas, whether they’re athletes or even sportscasters.

For a quick history lesson, the region is named Latin America because the languages spoken there (Spanish, Portuguese, French) are based on Latin.

The region known as Latin America encompasses Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.

Daniella Cicarelli is the Brazilian ex-wife of former soccer star Ronaldo. She got the ultimate revenge on her ex-husband when she was caught having sex…on a beach…in public…with her new boyfriend Tato Malzoni. We knew Brazilians were a little more loose and free with their sexuality, but that takes things to a whole new level.

Lauren Sanchez (Mexico)  made a name for herself as a reporter on Fox Sports Net, but she’s also known for having a baby with tight end Tony Gonzalez.
Sanchez was born in New Mexico but her parents are from actual Mexico, and she’s certainly not ashamed of her heritage.

Women’s Cricket Team (Panama). When these photos surfaced of two members of the Panamanian women’s cricket team, the internet literally blew up. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating, but there were a lot of hits.

LaLa Vasquez (Puerto Rico). The former MTV veejay is what Wikipedia writers describe as “Nuyorican,” which I can only assume means that she’s of Puerto Rican descent and grew up in New York.

Adriana Lima (Brazil) is a Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model who is one of the hottest women on Earth. She entered the sports world when she started dating and later married former NBA guard Marko Jaric. Um, yeah…this guy… Well at least we know she wasn’t in it for the money since Jaric hasn’t played in the NBA since 2009.

Alicia Machado (Venezuela) has made quite a career for herself. She’s an actress and singer, but she gained fame for winning the Miss Universe competition in 1996. She was the fiancee of fellow Venezuelan, MLB outfielder Bobby Abreu. He must regret the day that he let her go every time he looks at her spread in Playboy.

Shakira (Colombia). We knew that Shakira, a Colombian sports hottie, was a huge soccer fan when she recorded the official theme song of the 2010 World Cup. We knew it would only be a matter of time before she started dating a soccer player, and the lucky man is Spanish defender Gerard Pique. Shakira epitomizes Latin flavour in her songs, and particularly with her spicy dancing.

Elsa Benitez (Mexico)Possibly the first of many SI cover model-athlete relationships, Mexican model Elsa Benitez and former NBA center Rony Seikaly. The marriage didn’t last, but it did give hope to all seven-foot Lebanese guys with a lot of hair.

Eva Longoria (Mexico) was born and raised in Texas, but both her parents are of Mexican descent. She was perhaps best known for being the wife of Spurs guard Tony Parker, until the couple divorced amid allegations of infidelity on Tony’s part. That’s okay, Eva. We still love you.

Rosa Mendes (Costa Rica) is a WWE Diva who was born and raised in Vancouver, but is of Costa Rican descent. Here signature moves include such classics as the “Flower Fall” and the “Canada Effect.” I don’t know what either of those are, but I don’t want them done to me.

Mayra Veronica (Cuba). It must be hard to rebound from dating Kim Kardashian. It certainly helps when you can move on to someone that looks like Cuban model/singer Mayra Veronica. Her relationship with Reggie Bush didn’t last, but I’m sure they each got exactly what they wanted out of the tryst.

Gisele Bundchen (Brazil). The Brazilian is one of the most recognizable models in the world, and she’s also married to some guy who really enjoys water slides. When it comes to hotties from Latin America, Gisele has to be at the top of the list.

Doris Mar (Argentina) or Dorismar (I guess she’s going for the one-name thing) is Argentina’s answer to Larissa Riquelme. She can be seen putting her talents on display at Argentinian soccer games, and was a big hit during the 2010 World Cup.
